Coast-to-Coast, UK
One of the most ambitious fundraising events of the year, the NABD Coast-to-Coast Ride-Out took riders from the Irish Sea to the North Sea in a full-day challenge spanning more than 120 miles.
Starting at sunrise on the western shore, groups departed in staggered formations, following a scenic but demanding route across mountains, rivers and national parks. The diverse group included seasoned long-distance riders, sidecar teams, and adapted-bikes built with NABD assistance.
The ride challenged both rider and machine – but spirits remained high throughout the day.
“This one tests your stamina, but it’s worth every mile,” said an organiser.
“Every donation goes straight to helping disabled bikers ride again.”
Riders reached the east coast just before sunset, where a celebratory evening gathering marked the end of a successful and emotionally meaningful day.
