Roughley’s Bike Show 2025 Supports NABD

Roughley’s Bike Show 2025 celebrated its 25th anniversary in Stockport on Sunday 24 August, raising an outstanding £33,000 for charitable causes, including a £2,500 donation to the National Association for Bikers with a Disability (NABD).

Celebrating 25 Years in Stockport

Held in the centre of Stockport on Sunday 24 August 2025, Roughley’s Bike Show 2025 marked the 25th anniversary of this popular one-day celebration of motorcycles, music and community spirit.

Over the past quarter of a century, the NABD has been honoured to receive consistent support from the organising committee.

This year’s show raised an outstanding £33,000 for charitable causes. A total of 25 worthy organisations benefited — a fitting tribute to the 25th anniversary milestone.

Long-Standing Support for Disabled Riders

The continued backing from Roughley’s Bike Show has made a meaningful difference to disabled motorcyclists across the UK.

Funds donated to NABD help support:

  • Adaptation grants

  • Specialist motorcycle modifications

  • Trike conversions

  • Accessibility solutions for riders with disabilities

Community-driven events like Roughley’s Bike Show 2025 demonstrate how grassroots motorcycling culture continues to support inclusive riding.

Gratitude from the NABD

On behalf of the Trustees and Management Committee of the NABD, we extend our sincere thanks to Harley Roughley and the entire organising committee.

We also recognise the dedicated volunteers whose commitment made the 25th anniversary event such an outstanding success.

Their continued support ensures that disability need not be a barrier to motorcycling.

A Quarter Century of Community Support

Since its early beginnings, Roughley’s Bike Show has combined motorcycles, live music and local community spirit into a single standout annual event.

The 25th anniversary year demonstrated just how deeply rooted the show has become within the local biking calendar. Riders, traders, volunteers and visitors once again turned out in strong numbers to celebrate both motorcycling culture and charitable giving.

Reaching £33,000 in total donations is a remarkable achievement for a one-day event and reflects the dedication of the organising committee and volunteers.
