The NABD Memorial Ride-Out brought together riders to honour friends and members lost over the years, while raising support for those who continue to ride with disabilities. The procession-style ride maintained a respectful pace as it travelled through rural lanes and open countryside.
Participants attached small memorial ribbons, patches and decals to their bikes, creating a touching display of remembrance. Families and supporters gathered at designated stopping points, waving banners and cheering as riders passed.
The event concluded with a short remembrance ceremony and a group fundraising collection that exceeded expectations.
“It’s emotional, but also uplifting,” said one attendee.
“We honour our past while helping future riders reclaim their independence.”
