Peak District, UK
Hundreds of bikers gathered for the annual NABD Spring Charity Ride-Out, a scenic journey through the Peak District designed to bring riders together in support of disabled motorcyclists.
The morning began at a packed meeting point where volunteers handed out route maps and supporters swapped stories over hot drinks. From trikes to tourers, cruisers to sportsbikes, every type of machine was represented. As engines fired and riders formed up behind the lead marshals, anticipation filled the air.
The route wound through rolling hills, open stretches, and quiet villages — giving riders a chance to enjoy the countryside while raising money for NABD’s adaptation grants. Marshals ensured smooth coordination, and riders reported feeling welcomed regardless of experience or bike type.
“This ride-out shows what biking is really about — freedom, friendship, and helping those who need support,” said one returning participant.
By the end of the day, the event raised thousands to help disabled riders stay on the road, proving once again that the biking community stands firmly beside the NABD mission.
